DST Group offers computer aided pipework stress analysis using CAESAR II®. This enables our engineers to model and subsequently evaluate the structural responses and stresses of piping systems to international codes and standards.
CAESAR II® analyses pipe stresses under working conditions, and assists our engineers in recommending practical design changes to the pipework system, if and when required. It also acts as a “proving” tool to confirm that pipework systems will be safe under working conditions.
It is our opinion that any extremely high, or extremely low temperature pipework where failure could lead to serious injury or even loss of life should be analysed during the design stage. The analysis can then be submitted to the client to be assessed by insurers.
